LVAW is still in many, many armories, but the rapid ability to evolve the MCX family has driven more advancements, more configurations, etc. Programs like SURG, RSAR, and others have really taken the original LVAW concept and divided those roles into their own contracts.

The MCX, Virtus and Rattler all have different upper receivers (upper rail length). But you can swap barrels between them. Handguards are not cross compatible between Virtus and Rattler or MCX. So the gas adjustment cutout may not like up if you mix barrels.
