Of the 4 secret societies, I find the Sanguine Pact to offer the most in-game fun, trying to level those vampires to absurd heights in order to obliterate opposing armies. It really seems like the vampires are massively, massively, overpowered. A simple fix to this would be making them half as strong as your strongest unit, and cap the bonuses to +100% of their base damage, or something. Allowing a maxed out vampire to only be 50% stronger than your strongest unit. I'm running in to the same issue a lot of people have mentioned (inability to build vampire castles). The tile I'm on is not a flood plain, and none of the adjacent tiles are floodplains either.
